Admissions
to SVS Primary School

A relaxed, partnership-based approach to discovering your child’s unique potential and needs.
Enrollment at SVS Private Primary School in Szczecin is open throughout the entire school year, depending on place availability in specific classrooms. We consciously avoid high-pressure traditional entrance testing. Instead, we focus on genuine mutual dialogue, understanding how your child learns best, and ensuring that our educational approach—bridging Polish core standards MEN with the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP)—matches your family’s vision and values.

Admissions FAQ
When is the best time to begin the admissions process for Grade 1?
- We accept applications for Grade 1 for the upcoming school year in advance (starting in the autumn of the preceding year). Due to a strict limit of 18 spots per class, admission is determined by the order of applications received and the outcome of the adaptation meeting.
Do you accept students during the ongoing school year (mid-year transfers)?
- Yes, we conduct supplementary admissions for Grades 1–8 subject to seat availability in the respective cohort. In such cases, a 1–2 day trial period (adaptation stay) in the classroom is a key part of the process.
What documents are required to enroll a child?
- A completed application form, a copy of the child’s birth certificate, a 6-year-old development assessment report / school readiness assessment (for Grade 1), and, in the case of a mid-year transfer, the most recent academic transcript and report card.
Do you admit children with special educational needs (SEN) statements?
- Yes. We offer comprehensive therapeutic support (school psychologist, educational therapist, speech therapist, Sensory Integration [SI], and Social Skills Training [TUS]). Admission is subject to a review of the assessment statement by our specialist team to ensure we can provide the child with optimal conditions for development within the group.
